How large is the market for these gifts? 
The personalized gift marketplace is absolutely enormous!  And the Immpressions business allows you to create appropriate items for just about everyone you can think of: men, women, girls, boys, old and young. And there are so many occasions where this type of gift is just the right thing to give. If you can imagine for a minute how often people purchase greeting cards for special occasions. birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, weddings, new babies, graduation, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, love, friendship, thank you, recognition, inspiration, bereavement. The list seems endless.  Now imagine for another minute that your business provided beautiful keepsakes for those very same occasions, at very reasonable prices, with a high perceived value and personalized at no additional cost too! I hope you can see the potential. Continuing with the greeting card analogy, there are of course significant differences... Although greeting cards can be very thoughtful and appreciated too, more often than not, they wind up in the trash. On the other hand, a Immpressions gift is kept and treasured forever!

What special equipment will I need to create these products? 
You will need a Windows based computer and we suggest an inexpensive laser printer. We will provide you with our proprietary software, specialty art backgrounds and personalized gift supplies. That's it! We also provide you with a list of additional wholesale suppliers for items such as acrylic items, ceramic items etc. that you may wish to sell.

How long does it take to create a typical personalized gift? 
Approximately two minutes! Of course your customer can take as long as they wish to choose their gift but the actual time it takes for you to create a gift can be as quick as 1 or 2 minutes. 

Does your software allow printing of photos? 
Yes. Due to the multitude of printers available in the marketplace we suggest test printing using our art backgrounds before purchasing a new printer.

What printer do you recommend?
Nearly all Laser printers work great. I prefer HP brand. Many inkjets work well also. As far as inkjet printers are concerned, there are just so many brands and different ink technologies that we suggest test printing using our paper. Numerous customers have reported satisfaction using various Epson, HP & Canon brand printers as they generally use a high quality pigmented ink.

I understand how you would print out and frame one of your art backgrounds but how do you personalize the other products like mouse pads, jewelry boxes, etc?
Creating any of personalized products is just as simple as inserting an art background into a picture frame. All of our specialty products are personalizable in the same way that are specifically designed to accommodate the paper art background. For instance, the jewelry box has a compartment to accommodate a 5x7 printout. Accordingly, you would trim your personalized art background to the appropriate size and simply insert it into the compartment. The personalized mouse-pad is also created in a similar fashion... sort of like a sandwich; you insert the trimmed-to-size art background between the upper and lower sections of the mouse-pad and seal it closed with a piece of 2-way tape.  Voila! No glue, heat presses or other time consuming or expensive specialized equipment; but instead you'll be able to create a high quality personalized gift in a couple of minutes. And yes, even ceramic plates are created in the same way. Designed for personalizing, these ceramic plates accommodate the trimmed-to-size art background that is covered with a piece of glass and held in place with a hidden ring. The only additional tool required to create personalized plates is an inexpensive paper circle-cutter.
